Dear General Medical Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of General Medical Council's handling of my FOI request.
I believe you may have misunderstood my request. This doctor has had previous GMC hearings. This is the outcome documentation I am seeking (where this doctor was suspended for dishonesty convictions and class a drug use). These no longer appear online but have done before (in a redacted state). This outcome documentation has been published before and it’s not personal and it’s in the public interest for this information to be released as he’s still a registered doctor. If you feel you can disclose this without an internal please do this but if not please consider this as an internal review. I am not seeking documentation relating to this doctors current transgression as he will be subjected to a hearing in due course.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/h...
Yours faithfully,
Thomas Ward
