I have dealt with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and a copy of the
information as held by the Department as at 1^st November 2012 is attached.
I have prepared for you on an Excel spreadsheet –
A complete list of all Open and Open Proposed to Close Schools (including LA Maintained,
Independent, Academies, CTCs, Free Schools, Studio Schools and UTCs) in the North West of
England with Head Teacher details and school email addresses where available on EduBase..
Due to the amount of teacher turnaround in schools the Department does not hold Head Teacher
email information, and for this reason have supplied you with the school email address where
possible.
As part of the data extract we have included the school Unique Reference Number so that if
you require further information on any particular school record please go to

Clearly after looking through multiple requests for headteachers email addresses and as a whole the What Do They Know servers restrict the free movement of email addresses.
