Further to your email of 19th April 2016 asking for information from
Oxford Brookes University about our Vice-Chancellor's salary, I am able to
provide the following information in response to your request.

You asked:

Please provide the annual salary for the post of Director of your
university, since the year 2000 until the present day. By "Director", I
mean the most senior member of staff at your institution responsible of
the governance of the institution, sometimes called "Vice Chancellor" or
"President".

Response:

We are withholding it as we believe that section 21 of the Freedom of
Information Act applies. This exemption relates to information which is
accessible to the applicant by other means. The information you
requested is routinely published in our Financial Statements (in
particular note 7), which can be found in our Publication Scheme here:

You did ask for information back to 2000.  The first year (2000/01) is
not included in the online copies of of the statements, but I can tell
you that the figure was £101,000.

You also asked:

There are no additional payments.
