I would like to request information on the number of complaints received (and abatement notices issued, if applicable) by the council within these time periods:

1st April 2016 to 31st March 2017
1st April 2017 to 31st March 2018
1st April 2018 to 31st March 2019

for the following three points:
- Noise complaints (if possible to be further broken down by totals each reason, such as dogs barking, loud music, or equivalent).
- Boundary disputes
- Accumulation of rubbish/waste

following date of receipt, in which to respond to requests. 

 

However, under section 10 (6)(b) of the Act, the 20 day working day clock
does not start until clarification of the above is received.  If we do not
hear from you within 3 months your request will be cancelled.

 

You may be aware the legislation defines a number of exemptions which may
prevent release of the information you have requested. If any of the
exemption categories apply then the information will not be released. In
these cases, we will inform you of any exemptions we have applied together

By boundary disputes, I am referring to any complaints made by a resident regarding the boundary between their private property and that of their neighbour, such as a dispute over a new wall, hedge or extension being built.
