Dear High Speed Two (HS2) Limited,

In January 2010, the Forestry Commission invesigated the purchase and felling of wood, which is now part of the site of HS2's East Midland's proposed station.

Has HS2 purchased any land at Toton Sidings for its East Midlands station, and when?
When did negotiations commence? What price was asked / paid?

What wood and mineral property rights were retained?

Did HS2 request to take soil / gravel samples, and when?
What were any results?

Yours faithfully,

Neil Humphrey
