Finsbury Park faces Hackney's Brownswood Ward, across Seven Sisters Road. My questions relate to Hackney's involvement with neighbouring Haringey Council in development plans within the park, adjacent to the Borough of Hackney. Please answer each question separately:

1. Is Hackney Council aware of any plans of Haringey Council for any development within Finsbury Park?
2. If so, please provide as much information as possible.
3. Has Hackney Council consulted with residents in any Hackney Ward, about possible development within Finsbury Park?
4. Has Hackney Council participated in any meetings with Haringey Council, about development within Finsbury Park?
5. Please supply copies of any emails or letters exchanged between Hackney Council and Haringey Council, about Development within the park.

The Council’s Response

 

In response to question 1, Hackney Council Planning Service is not aware
of any plans of Haringey Council for any development within Finsbury Park.

 

In response to question 2, Hackney Council Planning Service does not have
any information to disclose. 

  

In response to question 3, Hackney Council Planning Service has consulted
with residents in Hackney wards regarding the Finsbury Park and Stroud
Green Neighbourhood Forum and Area.  In order to provide you with further
information regarding this, I have provided a website link below to the
Cabinet report which is available on Council's website.  Please note that
the relevant item on the agenda is agenda item 13.

In response to question 4, Hackney Council Planning Service has not
participated in any meetings with Haringey Council about development
within Finsbury Park.

 

In response to question 5, Hackney Council Planning Service does not have
any emails or letters exchanged with Haringey Council about development in
Finsbury Park to disclose.
