Dear Mr Ovens,

Thank you for your email. I will forward your comments to our Firearms
Unit, however the cost for training would not just be for 'using and
handling guns' as I am sure you will be aware courses will teach the
necessary skills to on how to shoot, including the theory of shooting
and common errors, how to evaluate weapons, police operating procedures
and health and safety issues, costs are not separated as you have
requested. I will request them to supply what figures they can for this
question within the cost of compliance.

Dear Freedom Of Information,
Thanks for confirming the Home Office is a Company.

I was also wondering if there was an update on my other questions, by that i mean will you have the answers in the next week or so?

Sorry if I seem a little pushy, but there is a lot going on with Councils etc, and all the talk of cut backs which will include the police force (something I disagree with) has got me enquiring about things.

Thanks for your help so far.
