I am writing regarding your information request received by Braintree
District Council on the 12/01/2024, case reference 7398.

Your request for information has been processed under the Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA). The Act enables access to information held by the
Council, subject to exemptions contained within the Act. The Act does not
require the Council to create information to respond to a request if the
requested information is not held, nor to give an opinion or comment.

Please find our response to your request below:

1) Provide me all documents, briefings, emails, communications from the to
newly elected councillors following the Local Elections relating to them
beginning their new role.

Please find attached information held by Braintree District Council.

Please note that any personal information not already in the public
domain, have been removed.

to be considered exempt from disclosure under Section 40(2) of the Freedom
of Information Act 2000 - Personal Information (disclosure would
contravene the Data Protection Act Principles - First Principle -
processing of personal data).
