Group B Strep guidelines, patient information materials, and rates of neonatal infection

The request was successful.

Dear South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust,

1. Please supply a copy of your guideline(s) relating to group B Strep in newborn babies, and the date of the guideline(s) publication, and most recent update.
2. Please supply copies of the information materials (physical and/or digital) which are given out about GBS as a routine part of antenatal care.
3. What was the Trust's rate and number of early-onset GBS infection and late-onset GBS infection was for the last calendar year (2017). For clarity, this can include those who developed GBS infection while in hospital, and those who were brought to hospital (i.e. fell ill after going home).
4. Does the Trust offer antenatal testing for group B Strep carriage to any or all pregnant women in its care?
5. If 4. is yes, what methodology is used for this testing?

Thank you in advance, and if any of the questions are unclear please do let me know.

Yours faithfully,

Oliver Plumb
