Basically the answer to this request is that the Environment Agency are required to test all groundwater prior to it entering the nearby brook network. They have told me elsewhere that thus monitoring has not yet raised any concerns.

Thank you for your enquiry which was received on 15 July 2019.  Huge
apologies for the delay in responding to you.

 

We respond to requests under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and
Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

 

Cuadrilla’s groundwater monitoring contractor in Autumn 2018 was AECOM.

 

Cuadrilla’s current groundwater monitoring contractor is Ground Gas
Solutions (GGS).

 

In response to your third question the Environment Agency does not
subcontract groundwater monitoring for this site. The groundwater
monitoring is undertaken by Cuadrilla’s contractors only.

 

Please refer to [1]Open Government Licence which explains the permitted
use of this information.
