Dear Royal Mail Group Limited,

I would be keen to be informed of how many suspensions/ disciplinary/ dismissal cases have been raised by Royal Mail against employees within the area of Castlederg, Co Tyrone ; Omagh, Co. Tyrone and the associated Tyrone sub offices within the last 18 months. As well as the number of grievances having been raised by employees in the past 18 months in the above areas.

Dear J Moore,

Thank you for your email in which you request information under the provisions of freedom of information legislation.

The information you have requested is not routinely disclosed by Royal Mail, and following the flotation of Royal Mail on the London Stock Exchange in October 2013, it is no longer subject to the Freedom of Information Act. Royal Mail was previously subject to the Act because it was wholly owned by the government. However, now that the government has sold its shares in Royal Mail, this is no longer the case. Therefore, we are no longer obliged to respond to requests for information under the terms of the FOI Act.
