Green projects
Dear Dounreay Site Restoration Limited,
Please provide under FOI, the reason why you refuse to support a major project called the North Highland Way which is from John o Groats to Durness.
In the past you have refused funding twice, and now say it is not your responsibility. There is funding set aside for socio economic projects, which the North Highland Way is, yet Dounreay refuses to address both safety issues of people being forced to walk, cycle and horse ride on the busy main road.
In addition, please advise why DSL did fund a leaflet for the North Pilgrims Way if this kind of project is considered to be outwith the scope of your work. This contained details of the John o Groats Trail, but not the North Highland Way, yet you stated in a previous note that you did not fund the John o Groats Trail.

I am writing to request an internal review of Dounreay Site Restoration Limited's handling of my FOI request 'Green projects'.
Funding queries have not been responded to, either for the John o Groats Trail or the Pilgrims Way. The organisation attempted to respond off line, which is not acceptable.
