Green homes grant applications

The request was partially successful.

Joseph Burtenshaw

Dear Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy,

To get to the bottom of the issues being had with the processing the Green Homes Grant, I fear there may be mishandling of public money. The way the scheme is currently operating and the uncertainty surrounding it will lead to job losses not job creation.

The following should be public knowledge:

As of December 2nd:

-How many vouchers have been issued; Broken down by measure

-How many vouchers have been applied for; Broken down by measure

-How many vouchers have been rejected alongside main reasons for rejection

-How many staff are processing the claims

-In which order are claims being reviewed i.e by value of voucher, measure installed, geographic location or date received

-Average turnaround time for a voucher request; by technology

Yours faithfully,

Joseph Burtenshaw
