The request was successful.

Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,
Further to "List of Wirral Green Belt sites under threat"
http://www.wirralglobe.co.uk/news/163563...

may I make, please, the following requests?

1. Why is the site proposed for the Hoylake Golf Resort not included on the map describing sites proposed for development on Green Belt, the proposal being the biggest ever in this part of the Borough having the greatest environmental and financial impact on the Borough according to Council's own Cabinet documents referring to the proposal has having implications for all Wards?

2. Also, and please accept my prior apology for ignorance giving rise to misunderstanding, are there fewer sites identified in the low resolution map published in the newspaper than is previously published elsewhere in Council documents and its website?

3a. And, if so, why has the number of sites been reduced?

3b. Which sites have been removed, please?

Thank you!

Yours faithfully,

John H Hutchinson

Dear Mr Hutchinson

We write further to your recent request for information regarding green
belt development proposals.  Please see the Council’s response to your
enquiry embedded within your original request below.

1.  Why is the site proposed for the Hoylake Golf Resort not included on
the map describing sites proposed for development on Green Belt, the
proposal being the biggest ever in this part of the Borough having the
greatest environmental and financial impact on the Borough according to
Council's own Cabinet documents referring to the proposal has having
implications for all Wards?

Response - The site of the golf resort is not within one of the Green Belt
Parcels identified for further investigation.  The land earmarked for that
development remains in the Green Belt and it would have to pass the ‘very
special circumstances’ test if a future planning application is to be
approved.

2.  Also, and please accept my prior apology for ignorance giving rise to
misunderstanding, are there fewer sites identified in the low resolution
map published in the newspaper than is previously published elsewhere in
Council documents and its website?

3a.  And, if so, why has the number of sites been reduced?

3b.  Which sites have been removed, please?

Response - The only official set of plans which should be referred to for
consultation purposes are those appended to the Cabinet Report considered
on July 23^rd and on the Development Options Review Section of the Council
web site.

Yours sincerely
