Grass cutting in Eccleshill and Hoddlesden

Please provide the following information regarding the maintainence of grassed areas in the following locations.

Hoddlesden
How often are the grassed areas cut (in the centre)?
Are the grass clippings collected?
How often are the grassed areas treated for weeds?
How much was spent on maintaining this grassed area each year? (Going back 5 years please with the name of the contractor).
Do the local residents pay any additional council tax towards this service (for example local parish council fees, maintenance charges etc)?

How often are the streets in the village sprayed for weeds?

In addition please can you clarify the following information regarding both areas.

How many complaints were received about the grassed areas in both areas in the past 3 years? (Missed cuts, poor service, etc).

How is the current contractor managed? Is their work randomly inspected to ensure they are fulfilling the current contract and providing the local tax payer valve for money?

How often are the grass cutting contracts publicly tendered?

Please provide the last tender for these grass cutting services, confirm the route to market and confirm how many response were recieved.

How much was spent on maintaining this grassed area each year? (Going back 5 years please with the name of the contractor). It is part of a larger contract and there is no split for each area . It was A P Broomes and currently Plano

In addition please can you clarify the following information regarding both areas.

How many complaints were received about the grassed areas in both areas in the past 3 years? (Missed cuts, poor service, etc). This information is not retained or recorded

How is the current contractor managed? Is their work randomly inspected to ensure they are fulfilling the current contract and providing the local tax payer valve for money? It is monitored at least weekly, with site visits with the contract manager for the contractor occurring regularly also.

How often are the grass cutting contracts publicly tendered? Every 2 to 3 years depending on performance and whether an extension within the contract conditions is given

Please provide the last tender for these grass cutting services, confirm the route to market and confirm how many response were recieved. The council use a procurement portal called the CHEST the specification goes on this and companies tender. https://procontract.due-north.com/Contra...

There were 9 responses last time for the contract let for 2018.
