When will you be next be tendering for a refresh or redesign of your website?

When was your website last updated in terms of the design, look and feel and when was this?

How many people tendered for your last website refresh and who were they?

How much did this cost?

Yours faithfully,

Arthur Burns

Verity James, South Downs College

Dear Mr Burns,

Thank you for your request for information dated 23 April 2014. As requested, please find the information regarding prospectus and web design below. I have not given a response where there is an exemption under the FOI Act.

1. Prospectus Design and Artwork
All design work is completed in-house and so we do not go out for tender for this. Last year, we printed 18,000 copies.
We have produced a part time prospectus in previous years but did not print one last year. We will be designing a part time guide this year but, again, this will be done in-house. As a guide, in 2012 we printed 10,000 part time brochures.

2. Website Design and Management
We have just completed a website redesign - the new site was launched in October 2013. We will not be tendering for a refresh or redesign for at least three years. Three companies tendered for the website re-design process and Monster Creative were selected as a result of this process. We continue to maintain a working relationship with the company but the management of the website is now handled in-house.

Many thanks,

Verity James
