Dear Brent Borough Council,

I wish to make a FOI request concerning the report that went to the council cabinet to demolish the Granville centre and a local school, without any consultation.

I understand the report was created by Stephen Hughes who is a consultant on the project. I am very concerned about how the council sourced the consultant and the quality of the final report. I believe the report is a sub standard and this has caused major distress to the residents, parents and users of the centre.

Therefore I would like the following information. Please could you provide any and all documents In relation to the information requested .

(1) How did the Council procure or select the services of Mr Hughes . What are the terms of the Contract. Please provide the names, of any agents or agencies that were used in this process

(2) Where there any others service providers or consultants considered in the selection process or short list

(3) Who made the decision to select Mr Hughes,to Consult and produce the report on the Granville centre.

(4) Can you Please provide (any minutes ) of any meetings involving Mr Hughes and the local stake holders I.e. local Regeneration officers, Granville centre, local schools, residents or local community/voluntary groups.

(5) Can you please provide, any correspondence between the local Councillors and Mr Hughes prior to these (if any) meetings.

(6) Did the Council make an appraisal or carry out evaluation process of the work undertaken by Mr Hughes. What performance measures where in place. Who was responsible for this, Did the Council raise any performance issues or take any action

(7). Has Mr Hughes undertaken any other works for the Council.

(8) What was the Cost of the report, and the consultation  work undertaken by Mr Hughes on the Granvill centre.

Yours faithfully,

Ali Hussain
