Grammar School annexe in Maidenhead - correspondence and plans

We're waiting for Bethan Osborne to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Sir William Borlase's Grammar School, Buckinghamshire,
I am seeking information regarding the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) plans to site a grammar school satellite or annexe within the boundaries of Maidenhead to serve Maidenhead families which has been approved for further research by the council with a budget of £200k. RBWM have announced that SWBGS may be a partner school in this introduction of selective education into the Royal Borough.

My specific requests are as follows:

Copies of any correspondence (postal or electronic or otherwise) between RBWM and the Headteacher or senior leadership team or Governors of SWBGS concerning the feasibility or proposals for a grammar school annexe in Maidenhead.

Copies of any correspondence between SWBGS and RBWM or any other Principal Authority or the Department of Education or the Education Funding Authority concerning a proposal for a grammar school annexe in Maidenhead.

Copies of minutes from the SWBGS Governing Body concerning investigation into or a feasibility study or a proposal for a grammar school annexe outside the town of Marlow.

Copies of any correspondence with parents or pupils or other stakeholders concerning the possible establishment of a grammar school satellite outside of the town of Marlow.

Copies of SWBGS's financial plans or budgets relating the feasibility stage and proposal stage of establishing a grammar school annexe in another educational authority.

Yours faithfully,

Bethan Osborne (Mrs)
