Graffiti and tagging statistics

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Avon and Somerset Constabulary should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Avon and Somerset Constabulary,

Could you please provide me with the following information or a link to it if it is available online - For each area (beat/neighbourhood) for each calendar year 2015 - 2019, how many people were
(1) arrested for graffiti/tagging offences?
(2) given a caution/warning for graffiti/tagging offences?
(3) of those arrested how many were taken to court and found
(3a) guilty
(3b) not guilty

Our response:

 

There is no specific offence to record graffiti. The information provided
is based on a search of offences recorded where there is a graffiti tag
recorded on the file to suggest that graffiti was an element of the
offence.
