Dear University of Cambridge,

Would you be so kind to provide me with the following information for all graduate degrees:

1. The number of applicants / offers for citizens from People's Republic of China. For each masters degree.
2. The number of applicants / offers for citizens from India. For each masters degree.
3. The number of applicans / offers for everyone in total for each masters degree. Simply total numbers and offers for each course, including China, India.

If you wish to separate the rest from China and India, (applicants & offers) that is also fine.

Yours faithfully,

Jian Chen

Dear University of Cambridge,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of University of Cambridge's handling of my FOI request 'Graduate admission statistics 2023/24 entry'.

Thank you for your reply. Respectfully, I am disappointed that my request was refused on the background of me allegedly asking for statistics under currect application cycle. That is not true at all.

I asked for a simple 2023/24 entry request, which means students under this application cycle have already started their MA / MPhil / MSc, etc in September / October 2023.

The currect application cycle is 2024/2025 and I never asked for that.

The university has already replied without any problems to other similar requests just recently, for example on 29 January 2024 to Fatima, regarding applicants with Pakistani citizenship to two Masters programs, and the same type of reply to Tony Wen regarding several Masters programs for Chinese citizens.

Both have mentioned specifically the same cycle as I did, 2023/2024. That is previous application cycle, and not the current one.

I am looking forward to getting finally a reply to my request and I appreciate it. Many thanks in advance.

Kindest regards
