Dear Michael,
Thank you for confirming your full name.
You have asked for "numerical breakdowns by class (e.g. 1st class, 2.1st class, 2.2nd class etc) of students taking the following modules at UCL".
Before we proceed with your request I'd like to explain that individual modules are not equivalent to, and do not constitute, a degree level qualification which means students are not awarded a first-class honour, 2:1, 2:2 etc upon individual module completion. Depending on the choices made by each student, as part of their degree, they select several different modules to complete (which may include those that you have listed) the total of which will make up their degree. With this in mind, it means that UCL does not hold information on the number of students who attained a 1st, 2:1 and 2:2 for each of the modules requested.
However, we are generally able to provide the average mark for modules. We can also provide the percentage of students who achieved scores within certain ranges, for example the percentage of students whose marks were less than 40, between 40-50, between 50-60, between 60-70 and over 70.
If you would like us to proceed with your request please respond to this email confirming the information you require, keeping in mind we can't provide the number of students who attained a 1st, 2:1 and 2:2 etc for individual modules.
Kind regards,
Rowan Glover-Perrett
