Government petitions systems information

The request was successful.

Robert Davidson

Dear Cabinet Office,

In recent communication (FOI2020/05676), your team stated that the government petitions website has two access systems that allow users to export email data relating to signatories of petitions.

The web-interface has 3 'permission sets' that allow such access: sysadmin, moderator, reviewer. The command-line access has one 'permission set' with export rights: admin.

Please would you now release a list or spreadsheet describing the name of any government department (e.g. Cabinet Office) and subdivision (e.g. Government Digital Service) and any external company, agency or other organisation that has employed or managed a staff member that has been granted any of these 4 permission sets in the last 12 months?

If any staff member has been under secondment then please indicate both the managing and employing/originating departments. Similarly, if a consultancy or agency staff member has been managed by a government department, please indicate both the department (and subdivision) and the external firm.

If you feel there are exemptions within the FOI legislation that would prevent the naming of an external company in this manner then please respond with a dummy name (e.g. External 1 Ltd, External 2 Ltd) and indicate that it is such and which exemptions are being invoked.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Davidson
