Goverment petitions system export information
Dear Cabinet Office,
Pursuant to two FOI requests to your department (FOI2020/05676, FOI2020/09035) regarding the government petitions system and underlying database, please will you now provide, with reference to FOI legislation etc, the following information?
For each of the last 5 exports (or as many as there have been up to 5) of petition signatory data (i.e. any data export that has included email or other fields that may identify any petition signatory) that may have been conducted by any agency or agent that has 'command line' access to the government petition database, please provide in a spreadsheet or similar format:
1) Date of export
2) Agency/Department or account conducting export
3) Number of petition signatories in each export (unique user records exported or similar)
4) Size of export (file-size or equivalent)
Where you feel that you cannot provide any particular field as requested for any reason covered by FOI exemption, please provide a meaningful proxy for that information where possible (such as providing the government department of the user rather than the specific user account information in requested field 2) or simply exempt that single field while still providing the others where possible - please do not deny the entire request because one requested field is exempt in the exact format requested.
Many thanks for your time taken in this matter.
Yours faithfully,
Robert Davidson
