Go-live date for finance functionality in Corelogic social care system

The request was successful.

Dear Lincolnshire County Council,

Q1: Is the finance functionality in the Corelogic social care system live? If not, please provide target go-live date. By 'live' I mean "in active use by children's and adult social workers and finance officers, including paying foster carers and service providers to adult social care, managing charging and performing financial assessments". If the solution is partially live by this definition, please clarify which aspects are not yet live

Q2: Please provide copies of any project plans or other documentation which explains how the Council has kept its case management data in sync while the finance functionality is being / has been implemented.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Shaw

Dear Peter Shaw

Freedom of Information Reference:  37264320FOI

Subject: Request for information.

Please find our response to your request below:

Request

1.    Is the finance functionality in the Corelogic social care system
live? If not, please provide target go-live date. By 'live' I mean "in
active use by children's and adult social workers and finance officers,
including paying foster carers and service providers to adult social care,
managing charging and performing financial assessments". If the solution
is partially live by this definition, please clarify which aspects are not
yet live

2.    Please provide copies of any project plans or other documentation
which explains how the Council has kept its case management data in sync
while the finance functionality is being / has been implemented.

Response

 1. A go-live date of 1st April 2017 is currently being planned for,
subject to completion of design, development and testing, and assuming
other finance year end activity permits.
 2. The Council has never had integration of finance and case management
for social care and will be implementing it for the first time when
the finance functionality of Corelogic goes live.

The Council utilises systems outside of the main Social Care system to
enable finance functionality and these systems will continue operating
until such time that finance activity is switched into Mosaic.  Data does
not need to be kept in sync with the case management system as current and
legacy financial data will be transferred at the point a dual-running
scenario is commenced.  After a period of dual-running, all operations
will transfer to Mosaic and the legacy systems will be decommissioned.

Lincolnshire County Council believes that the response outlined above
satisfies your request for information under the Freedom of Information
Act and that all information that can be made available to you has been
provided.

You are entitled to an internal review of the administration of your
request. You can request an internal review by contacting
[4][email address]. Should you remain dissatisfied following the
outcome of the review you can submit a formal complaint to the Information
Commissioner's Office. Further information can be obtained from their
website [5]www.ico.org.uk.

Once again, thank you for your enquiry.

Yours sincerely

Dear FOI,

Thank you.

Disappointing that it will take 3 years and 2 months from contract signature to get this project fully live.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Shaw
