Glossary:Classification of the functions of government (COFOG) "published by the United Nations Statistical Division as a standard classifying the purposes of government activities."
Dear Scottish Government,
You may or may not be aware of:
Worlwide clissifaction called "Classification of the functions of government (COFOG)"
"Glossary:Classification of the functions of government (COFOG)
The Classification of the functions of government, abbreviated as COFOG, was developed in its current version in 1999 by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and published by the United Nations Statistical Division as a standard classifying the purposes of government activities.
The classification has three levels of detail:
divisions;
groups;
classes.
Divisions describe the broad objectives of government, while groups and classes both define the means by which these broad objectives are achieved"
Does Scotland have a Glossary: Classification of the functions of government (COFOG) publication?
If so, what is the latest edition & figures for the entire Glossary: Classification of the functions of government (COFOG) categories, relating to Scotland, going back 5 years, LG & CG Scotland (not UK)
&
Explain why The Scottish Government (if it actually has undertaken the time to compile one) decided to exclude certain categories? (I have seen the full & complete compatible version for example from tiny countries such as Malta)
If, Scotland does not use worldwide standards, what exactly does it use?
or
If devolved 'administrations/governments' such as Scotland, are somehow excluded from real world classifications, just say so, without any ''whataboutery”
In case you’re not aware, here is a link to UK/Westminster/Tories/Boris Johnson version of said clarification & it would be 'cool' to compare Scotland to UK.
