Dear Zia,

Further to your recent request for information, the University’s response follows.

1) a register of gifts and hospitality provided to the vice chancellor and senior management in the academic years 2012/13 and 2013/14 so far:

Please see attached the section on Gifts and Hospitality from the University's Expenses policy. There are no entries on the hospitality register for the above period. This is because the Expenses policy outlines that hospitality is not permitted. Please be advised also that hospitality has not been offered but rejected during this period. The gift register is attached, however it must be stressed that a) the value of most of these items is unknown and b) these were accepted by the staff member on behalf of Kingston University and not as a personal gift.

2) a register of interests of the vice chancellor and senior management.

Please find attached a PDF containing the register of interests for the Senior Management team.

This completes the University’s response to your information request. If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision please contact:

Head of Secretariat, Kingston University, River House, 53-57 High Street, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1LQ.

In the event that you are not content with the outcome of your complaint you may apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the Information Commissioner cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints procedure provided by Kingston University. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at:

The Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.

I hope that you now have all the information you require.

Kind regards,

Lyn
