Dear HM Prison Service,

Can you enlighten me broke down by years since 1990 how many inmates have been Ghosted in what is known within the UK prisons as Ghosting.
Where an inmate is awoken before normal morning transfers and taken to another prison with no warnings given or application for transfer being made by prisoner, where current prison refuse to have this inmate for reasons known only to the prison service.

Yours faithfully,

B Smith

Dear Middleton, Joanne [HMPS],

Thank you for your response.
you have taken the word "Ghosting" Correctly as this term is used by prisoners and unofficially by prison staff.
Due to the search exceeding do da for the 4 prisons asked for, this can be amended to just HMP The Mount to start, then it should not exceed the necessaries.
I shall then send a F.O.I for each of the prisons i require this information for.
I am also concerned you have Addressed your response to one by the name of Ben.
please can you clarify who Ben would be please.

Yours sincerely,

B Smith
