Geography 2021
Dear University of Oxford,
Please may I ask for the following data to be provided:
1 • Number of applicants with achieved (not predicted) A-Levels for Geography 2021 entry or 2022 deferred entry
2 • Number of applicants with achieved (not predicted) A-Levels shortlisted for Geography 2021 entry or 2022 deferred entry
3 • Number of applicants with achieved (not predicted) A-Levels offered a place for Geography 2021 entry or 2022 deferred entry
And finally
4 - as candidates are shortlisted based off contextualised GCSE scores for Geography at Oxford, if a candidate has already achieved A-Levels A*AA are these prioritised over their cGCSE score? And with this, if they have achieved A-Levels are they automatically shortlisted.
For example if an individual achieved 5 A*s and had a poor cGCSE score, but had already achieved A*A*A* at A Level, will the 3 A*s at A-Level be seen as to make up for the poor cGCSE score?
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Mr E Kelly
Dear University of Oxford,
In regards to point 4, when the feedback states ‘All post A-Level Applicants who have achieved A*AA or IB equivalent’ at the bottom of the first page, does this mean ALL Post-A Level applicants who have achieved A*AA at A-Level were automatically shortlisted and this took triumph over any GCSE performance when shortlisting?
Yours faithfully,
Mr E Kelly
