Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

With regards to your generic letter to benefit claimants;

Can you confirm that the statement "the law says you need to live on each week" is false, as there is no such law?
If there is a 'law' could you please define it for me?

If you cannot provide evidence such a law exists then will you remove this statement from any correspondence to claimants as it is misleading and a lie?

Yours faithfully,

I am the agent for the fictional strawman that was created with the name Kenneth Heskin
