Q1. Does the health board collect data from GP'S  surgeries on the number
of people GP's diagnose with a severe mental impairment in a yearly period
,and if so how many years has this data been gathered and can a yearly
breakdown be provided by local council area

A1. NHS Ayrshire & Arran does not collect or hold this information and has
not done so since June 2016. It was never held in a local authority
format. As we do not hold this information it is classed as an exclusion
under section 17 (1) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

 

The information is available for 2015/16 and earlier on the Information
