ICT Information

 

Following an investigation and search of our records I can confirm the
following Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT)
information:-

 

1.       Who is the Trust's current supplier for their Electronic Patient
Record?

 

Servelec

 

2.       What are the contract start and end dates for the Electronic
Patient Record?

 

The start of the contract was June 2015. The end of the initial term is
June 2020. The end of the option to extend is June 2025.

 

3.       Who is the Trust's current supplier for their Patient
Administration System?

 

Servelec

 

4.       What are the contract start and end dates for the Patient
Administration System?

 

The start of the contract was June 2015. The end of the initial term is
June 2020. The end of the option to extend is June 2025.

 

5.       When is the trust due to start looking to re-procure their
clinical systems?

 

The Trust will be reviewing this in the next few months.

 

6.       Who supplies the Trust's integration system?

 

Servelec

 

7.       How often does the Trust evaluate their Clinical Systems? 

The Trust will evaluate the clinical system 18 months before the contract
is due to expire.

 

8.       Please supply a copy of the Trust’s latest Digital Strategy

 

The Trust are unable to supply a copy of the Digital Strategy as it is
currently in draft form. The strategy will be going to the Trust Board
after 2020.

 

9.       How regularly does the Trust review their Digital Strategy?

 

The Digital Strategy is reviewed every year  and any necessary updates are
made.

 

10.   Who is the Trust's current Chief Clinical Information Officer?

Sheila Stenson – Executive Director of Finance is the SRO for
Productivity.

 

16.   What proportion of the Trust’s IM&T Department is made up of interim
staff and permanent staff?

 

All permanent staff.

 

17.   How many beds does the trust have?

 

As at 15/11/2019 – 458.

 

18.   How many staff does the trust employ?

19.   What is the trust’s current NHSI Rating via the NHS Oversight
Framework?

 

The Trust is currently a 1 in the NHSI Rating.

 

20.   What is the trust’s current Digital Maturity Score?

 

The Trusts most recent digital maturity score (2017) is:

·         Capabilities – 57%

·         Infrastructure – 90%

 

21.   Does the trust outsource their IT services to an external provider,
if so please provide details of provider and contract dates

 

RiO is the only outsourced Service and contract not due to expire until
2024/5

 

 

22.   Is the Trust looking to migrate to the cloud in the next 2 years?

 

The Trust is not currently looking to migrate, although some services are
already hosted externally.

 

23.   Is the Trust considering their options of outsourcing their IT
Services in the next 3 years?

 

No
