General Aviation Champion appointment

Under the Freedom of Information Act I would like to request the following information about the appointment of the ‘General Aviation Champion’ announced by the Department for Transport via press release on 7 February 2018.

1. Could you please provide me with the remuneration arrangements for this position, including but not limited to basic salary, employer pension contributions, and bonuses.
2. Could you please provide me with the public role description for this appointment that appeared online on any government or public appointments website before 7 February 2018.
3. Could you please state how many applications were received for this position before 7 February 2018.
4. Could you please provide me with any written correspondence and documentation in any form that references the appointment of the ‘General Aviation Champion’ and the Governance Code for Public Appointments (in particular section 2 ‘The Principles of Public Appointments’) (published by the Cabinet Office and dated 16 December 2016).
