Gender services - Greater Glasgow NHS Board
Dear Greater Glasgow NHS Board,
I am writing to request information under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act (2000). My enquiries relate to the Young People’s Gender Identity Service at Sandyford.
Please provide:
the total number of patients currently held on the wait list for an initial appointment with the service
the total number of initial appointments held between 1st September 2022 to 31st August 2023 inclusive
the average (mean) time in weeks from referral to first treatment or assessment appointment for patients whose first such appointment happened between 1st September 2022 to 31st August 2023 inclusive), excluding patients who have waited for a shorter time due to a previous wait at another clinic.
the most recent month that an invitation was sent for a first appointment (or otherwise offered via phone, email, etc) and the month of referral for that patient
for the patient currently next in the queue to be offered an initial appointment, the month of referral for that patient
