Dear Birmingham City Council,
I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from [authority name/department]:
+ How many toilets in Birmingham City Council building have gender-neutral toilets? I would ask for the building name a full six-digit postcode of any building that has gender-neutral toilets.
Please provide the information in the form an excel document.
If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under your Section 16 obligations, as to how I can refine my request to be included in the scope of the Act.
In any case, if you can identify ways that my request could be refined please provide further advice and assistance to indicate this.
I look forward to your response within 20 working days, as stipulated by the Act.

‘Gender Neutral’ toilets; we have received a fair amount of information
from our Service areas in relation to this request and in order to give
you a correct response, could you please clarify if when you refer to,
‘How many toilets in Birmingham City Council building have gender-neutral
toilets?’ are you referring to Public Buildings only or all Council
Offices/ Depots and Staff workplaces.
As most Disabled toilets would be ‘Gender Neutral’ do you want these
included in the response
