Gender Equality

The request was successful.

Dear NHS England,

Does NHS England discriminate against patients and/or members of the public on the grounds of gender in the area of Public Health, or would patients and/or members of the public be able to expect the same level of health campaigning where the same "condition" affected both genders, irrespective of their gender, for instance alcohol misuse, drugs misuse, smoking, obesity, diabetes etc.?

Yours faithfully,

John Johnson

Dear WOOLLEY, Emma (NHS ENGLAND),

My request refers to equitable treatment of genders in health campaigning. Your recent campaign on ending Female Genital Mutilation is a good example of inequlity of gender in campaigning. Whilst I accept that this was an international campaign can you tell me when you will be campaigning on Male Genital Mutilation?

Yours sincerely,

John Johnson
