Gender breakdown for 16th or 17th edition wiring regulations course.

Anonymous made this Freedom of Information request to Liverpool Community College

This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Liverpool Community College should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Liverpool Community College,

Please would you provide the number of male students and the number of female students enrolled on the 16th (and later 17th) Edition Wiring Regulations course for each year that you hold this data.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

Please see guidance from the Information Commissioner [January 2009]; which states that it is good practice for a public authority to still consider a request made using an obvious pseudonym.

Dear Liverpool Community College,

Thank you for your recent reply which asked me to submit my details on your FOI form. However, this is an anonymous FOI request (using an obvious pseudonym) as explained in my first post.

I believe the information requested is limited in scope and any data you provide will be useful in quantifying the lack of female participation in male dominated subjects, for gender equality research.

I would therefore be grateful if you could please consider fulfilling my request for information, without the need to disclose my details, in the interest of transparency. Please let me know if this will not be possible, in which case I will update the request for information as being “refused” and bring it to an end.

Thank you for your assistance.

Yours faithfully,
