GE2019 postal vote data

Cambridgeshire County Council did not have the information requested.

Dear Cambridgeshire County Council,

I would like to make an FOI request for voter data from the 12th December 2019 General Election. Specifically, I would like the following info:

- how many people were registered to vote by post in your constituency?
- how many postal votes were received?
- how many votes were marked as invalid?
- what was the result of the postal vote by party? If easier, just including the top 3 parties is fine.

I look forward to your reply.

Yours faithfully,

Donovan Kiddick

FOI, Cambridgeshire County Council

Please note that the County Council is closed over the Christmas period from 25th December 2019 to 1st January 2020 inclusive.
Any messages will be picked up when we reopen from 2nd January.
Kind regards,
Information Governance Team

FOI, Cambridgeshire County Council

Dear Donovan

Re: Freedom of Information request ref FOI_1260362

I write with reference to your request of 28th December 2019. Unfortunately we do not hold the requested information. In Cambridgeshire it is the City/District councils that are responsible for election/voting data, as they hold the electoral registers.

The following webpage includes links to the websites of these councils in case you wish to send your request to them and have not already done so.

https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/data-p...

I hope this information is helpful but if you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a complaint or request a review, you should write to Information Management, at either [Cambridgeshire County Council request email] or by post at Box No. OCT1224, Shire Hall, Cambridge CB3 0AP within 40 days of the date of this e-mail.

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, or via their website at https://ico.org.uk/.

Generally, the ICO will not undertake a review or make a decision on a request until the internal review process has been completed.

Kind Regards,
