GDPR compliance
Dear Home Office,
The Research, Information and Communications Unit (RICU) works with a number of private companies who contracted to undertake work that might involve personal data such as a) social scientific analysis and b) research on audiences, as well as c) comms, messaging and media production. Could I please ask:
How many contractors currently contracted in each of these activities supporting RICU's work handle personal data, and of these how many are currently registered with the Information Commissioners Office?
Were all contractors handling personal data for RICU between 25 May 2018 and today registered with the ICO? If not, how many were not and could I see a list of those companies and what they worked on.
Thank you for your help
Yours faithfully,
Dr Emma L Briant

Dear Home Office,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Home Office's handling of my FOI request 'GDPR compliance'. In the light of evidence that the Home Office is responsible for a covert misleading website targeting asylum seekers and immigrants arriving in the UK which appears to have GDPR compliance issues I am requesting an internal review please.
