Dear Trapti,
Thank you for confirming the request is for us.
We need some clarification please.
Can you please explain to us when you say - What is overall GCSE profile of students receiving offers?

Dear Trapti,
Further to your recent FoI request, the Schools response is provided below:
1. English requirements - what is an acceptable GCSE English grade for data Science, Economics Mathematics and Finance undergraduate courses. Would that be applicable for English Language and English Literature both ?
https://www.lse.ac.uk/study-at-lse/Under...
All applicants who have taken GCSEs/iGCSEs are expected to have at least grade B/grade 6 in GCSE English Language and Mathematics or the equivalent. For some programmes this may be higher. Exceptions are made for applicants with extenuating circumstances.
2. Would overall/average GCSE grades impact my application as long as I meet English and specific subject requirements (example Maths/Science).
https://www.lse.ac.uk/study-at-lse/Under...
For the remaining please see attached.
Please note that we cannot provide the averages on this occasion. We are not required to do calculations and in this case the GCSE results are either grades in numbers or letter or both. We would need to introduce our own standardisation to be able to calculate the average. The response provides all the GCSE actual grades and where those offer holders studying GCSE also have A Level grades, those have been provided as per the request.
If you think that the information provided does not meet your request, contact Rachael Maguire at [email address] or write to Louise Nadal, School Secretary, London School of Economics and Political Science, Houghton Street, London, WC2A 2AE. We will then review the response to your request and get back to you within 20 working days. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office http://www.ico.gov.uk/, though they expect the internal review to be carried out before receiving a complaint directly.
