GCSE Computer Science results by School Type

We're waiting for Michael Jones to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations,

Please supply me the GCSE Computer Science results for summer 2018 and 2019 separated into
grammar and non-grammar school. I would like the data to be shown as percentage and actual number of students awarded grades 9-1 and U. I do not require the data to be supplied on a school by school basis but simply a grammar and non-grammar output

Yours faithfully,

Michael Jones

Dear Mr Jones

Thank you for your email in which you are requesting GCSE Computer Science
results for summer 2018 and 2019 separated into grammar and non-grammar
school shown as a percentage and actual number of students awarded grades
9-1 and U.

We do not hold information on whether or not a school is a grammar school.
We do however hold information on centre type according to the national
centre register which we maintain on behalf of The Joint Council for
Qualifications (JCQ) . [1]https://www.ocr.org.uk/administration/st...
Grammar schools fall under 'secondary selective' but this also includes
technical schools.

The tables attached show a breakdown of ‘secondary selective’ compared to
all other centre types.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you can ask for
an internal review. Internal review requests should be submitted within
two months of the date of receipt of the response to your original request
and should be addressed to:

Dear Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations,

Many thanks for your very useful information. I would like to know what the cohort size is across the two school sectors. Please forward me a table showing the number of students entered for GCSE Computer Science in 2018 and 2019. I would like this information per school. If you do not feel comfortable with releasing the name of the school this can be redacted.

Yours faithfully,

Michael Jones

Dear Mr Jones

Thank you for your further email.  We understand your further request to
be a list of entries by individual centres split by the two centre types -
secondary selective and all other centre types.

We do not hold the data in this format.  We have however broken the data
down by centre type and total entries which we hope you find useful.

If we have misunderstood your request please do let us know.

Yours sincerely
