Mayor of London, Greater London Authority

Dear Mr Yeung

Thank you for your request for information.

You have asked for:

?all correspondence (written, email or other means) from 1st April 2017 to
date between the GLA/Mayor's office and the Garden Bridge Trust, and
between the GLA/Mayor's office and TfL concerning the Garden Bridge.
Please note that information relevant to the first part of your request is
available on our disclosure log - please see the following links:

[1]https://www.london.gov.uk/foi-disclosure...

[2]https://www.london.gov.uk/foi-disclosure...

[3]https://www.london.gov.uk/foi-disclosure...

The scope of your request in its current form would involve a number of
GLA employees conducting the searches and reviewing the results to ensure
it is relevant to your request. This would exceed the 'appropriate limit'
as per section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

It would be helpful if you could refine your request by naming individuals
/ or job titles at the GLA and Garden Bridge Trust who the communications
would fall between, and providing some context to the nature of the
discussions so that we can perform key word searches of the relevant
mailboxes.

The GLA has received several similar requests for information. Where
requesters have satisfied the appropriate limit they have focused their
requests on a narrower time period (e.g. 3 months) and specified
individuals at the GLA who have communicated with associated Garden Bridge
third parties (including naming relevant individuals at those
organisations). Requesters have also been specific on topics associated
with the Garden Bridge correspondence.

You may find these previous FOI responses of interest (and will partly
cover your request):
