Freedom of Information Act 2000 Your request for Information relating to Galleries
Bus Station.
I refer to your Freedom of Information Request received on the 13 December 2022
requesting information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 relating to
Galleries Bus Station. Please see the response below that you were seeking to your
question(s).
Questions:
Dear Sunderland City Council,
I am asking for information pertaining to the Galleries Bus Station. Does Sunderland
Council pay rent for this to the Galleries?
If yes, please provide financial figures per year if possible in a format that is best
suited to your available data.

Response:
The Council does not pay rent to Galleries for the bus station.
This information has been provided in response to a Freedom of Information request
and this must be acknowledged in any subsequent use of the information. In
addition, the authority must be notified of any proposed re-use of this information for
commercial or other purposes.
I hope this is satisfactory. If, however, you are dissatisfied with our response to your
request for information, you can ask for the decision to be reviewed in reply to this
letter, however any request for review must be submitted within 40 days of the date
of this freedom of information response. The review will be removed from the
