Gagging Orders in Secret Family Courts

Mrs Docherty made this Freedom of Information request to Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was successful.

Dear Sir or Madam,

In the wake of the people speaking out against the abuses of the
secret family courts and forced adoption of children to strangers,
instead of being retained within their real natural families. I
would like to know how your authority compares to others in
fulfilling your responsibilities to families & their children.

(a) How many individuals have been taken to court by your authority
in-order to gag them. To stop them from speaking out about the
injustices they have suffered at the hands of the council
children's social services and secret family courts. Provide all
records to-date that are held.

(b) How much did these gagging order injunctions cost the rate
payer.

(c) Who is responsible for actioning these enforcement orders by
the council, i.e. who signs the applications for court.

(d) How many parents /relatives/individuals have received further
sanctions for breaking these gagging orders.

(e) Are any of these decisions to gag/sanction taken by unelected
local authority officers responsible for children’s social care,
finance, legal or any other relevant department.

(f) If councillors make these decisions at which meeting(s) are
these discussed.

Yours faithfully,

Mrs Docherty

Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea

Dear Mrs Doherty,

Thank you for your request. I have made several enquiries throughout the
Council and it would help our searches if you could redefine or clarify
your request please?

We don't recognise your description of gagging order. It would help if you
could specify the legal names of the orders referred to so we could check
our records effectively. Could you also provide a timeframe from when you
would like the information for?

Please contact me if you require any assistance.

Yours sincerely

Robin

All people upon entering a *public* family court hearing are gagged by the Childrens' Act. This means they are prohibited by law to divulge the name/s of the children to anyone at all, not even to discuss with friends or family without threat of being sent to prison, and this does happen. Perhaps the FOIA Dept here is unaware of how the law works in this regard.

Kensington and Chelsea Borough is notorious in respect to Child Protection over diagnose. Family and Children Social Services do still target single parents and other vulnerable public with the purpose of meeting adoption targets by terrorising families with constant monitoring, digging for evidence that their presence is necessary, often victimising those who dare complaining about unfair treatment and undue interventions, invasion of personal life of individuals. Kensington and Chelsea Children and Family Services cannot differentiate between real child abuse/neglect and normal life situations putting the livelihoods of children and their investigated parents under a huge amount of stress however justified but still cruel and in itself abusive.
