Dear Information Officer,

The response has misunderstood my request.

The context for my request was established with its title “Future Plans for Hastings Country Park”
You have interpreted my request far too narrowly as a request for a copy of a new country park management plan.

As the preamble to my request explains I am interested in future plans for the country park as described by Mr Davidson at his recent presentation. These include (but are not restricted to) the introduction of virtual fencing, the increase in the number of grazing cattle and the changes from arable to grazing land use.

I will raise another EIR request which makes the context clearer. This will request the following

1. A copy of the future plans for Hastings Country park as described by Mr Davidson at his recent presentations
2. All documents (in any form including emails and correspondence) concerning changes to the current management plan , changes to the countryside stewardship agreements and future plans for the Country Park
3. Copies of all consultation documents (in any form including emails and correspondence) that have taken place concerning changes to the current management plan , changes to the countryside stewardship agreements and future plans for the Country Park
4. Copies of the current and proposed 2024 countryside stewardship agreement and any other agreements with external bodies.

Yours sincerely,

Chris Hurrell
