Dear Merton Borough Council,

An FOI request made to MHCLG has shown that Merton Council submitted two Expressions of Interest to the Future High Streets Fund (https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/f...).

MHCLG wrote “Merton Council submitted two Expressions of Interest (EOI) to the Future High Streets Fund, one for Merton High Street and one for Mitcham Town Centre. Applicants were requested to estimate the revenue funding needed to draw up detailed business cases for the second stage of the competition. This was not stated in the applications for Merton High Street or Mitcham Town Centre. Although not required to be included in the EOI, capital funding of £6,254,956 and £3,750,000 was noted in the application for Merton High Street and Mitcham Town Centre respectively.”

For the Mitcham Town Centre bid please:

1. Provide the EOI document
2. List the consultees contacted during the development of EOI including

a. Community and faith organisations
b. Businesses
c. Ward councillors
d. Other organisations and individuals
