The request was successful.

Dear Advertising Standards Authority,

I am looking for your help on several matters please.

I received information from you on the 29th January 2018 from a previous request regarding an informally resolved decision between yourselves and Waverley Media which is listed on your website dated 07th October 2015.

A complaint was received about a DVD (which was included in a direct mailing). Text on the DVD included, “ZERO RISK FOOTBALL HEDGING SYSTEM”.

The complainant challenged whether the claim “ZERO RISK” was misleading, because they did not believe it was possible to hedge a bet using the system they suggested and guarantee that you would not lose money.

I am aware of what the decision between yourselves and Waverley Media entailed as you supplied me with information regarding this complaint.

Could you please let me know which advertising standards codes were breached by Waverley Media in this 07th October 2015 instance, for example was the risk free statement considered misleading etc.

Also I made a complaint against Waverley Media last year and there was an informally resolved decision in that case as well.

Could you please let me know from my complaint which advertising codes were breached by Waverley Media.

Also could you please let me know how many complaints altogether have been submitted to you regarding Waverley Media as I am aware of two. One being the 2015 complaint and also my own complaint in 2017.

Yours faithfully,

Mark McNamara
