Furlough abuse

Cabinet Office did not have the information requested.

Dear Cabinet Office,

On 20th March 2021 news broke that BILLIONAIRE tax exiles, Saudi royals and oil-rich Gulf states have claimed millions of pounds in taxpayers money from the UK Government's furlough scheme.

FoI request: If they exist, please provide documents showing restrictions placed on the government furlough scheme to prevent it being accessed and abused by overseas billionaires, rather than assuming 'everyone will use it in the spirit in which it was intended'.

For public reference: Tories spreading public money around like confetti with no oversight: https://www.thenational.scot/news/191759...
