Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
In the interests of impartiality and transparency. Can you please provide all of the information in relation to the BBCNI coverage of the Large Protestant, Loyalist funeral of Mr Herbie Hutton organised by the Apprentice Boys of Derry which took place in the Sandy Row area of Belfast, beside Belfast City Hospital Cancer Center ,during the ongoing Pandemic and in in clear breach of lock down regulations, with no social distancing and very little wearing of masks being evident, on the 15 Sept 2020, a ten minute walk from BBC Head Office in Belfast. Please include all the minutes of meetings between senior BBCNI management and reporters on the Good Morning Ulster programme including Chris Buckler . David Thompson Assistant Producer and Stephen Nolan presenter from the Nolan Show . Talkback Presenter William Crawley and the Talkback production team. These progammes have prime airtime slots on BBC Radio Ulsters daytime schedule. Clarity on on how coverage of this major Protestant Loyalist Funeral was to be handled by senior BBCNI management and presenters at Radio Ulster, needs to be provided in order to instill public confidence in the BBC brand and ensure is not further tarnished by accusations of of persistent sectarian anti Catholic discrimination and gaslighting ,in news coverage by senior management and presenters at BBCNI, particularly in relation to major Covid 19 funerals.
