Funds allocated to the deal for land at Chinatown Liverpool city centre
Dear Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government,
Please supply the following information under FOI rules
1, The amount of public money from your department allocated to Liverpool city council in relation to the purchase of the leaseholds in relation to Liverpool Chinatown failed developments sites 1/2/&3 (these failed developments sites are bordered by Great George street, Nelson st, close to the Baltic development area)?
2, The amounts for each parcel of land within the China Town failed developments sites 1/2/&3?
3, The companies to which payments were made within the structure of the said deal to bring the leaseholds of all three sites back into freehold of Liverpool city council?
4, Correspondence between your department, Liverpool city council and the insolvency practitioners acting on behalf of the leaseholders in this matter?
5, The detailed list of names of councillors council officers and regional mayoral staff along with governmental department officers associated with the negotiations to bring these leaseholds back into council ownership?
6, The policy in relation to value for money in these matters?
It is clear that the ministry has assisted Liverpool city council with public finances for the repurchase of these leaseholds and as such this freedom of information request is made in relation to the ongoing investigations into fraud and corruption by Merseyside police into officers and elected officials at Liverpool council and the public has a right to know who has been negotiating the deal on behalf of the people of our city
Yours faithfully,
J M Bradley

Dear FOI,
We think the question at Q6 of our FOI is quite clear I ask for the policy in relation to value for money for the tax payer in relation to the whole FOI requests
Yours sincerely,
J M Bradley
Dear FOI,
RE:- Question 6, in real terms what value from the allocated tax payer money will the public actually get in relation to this deal to buy back land that was originally handed to a fraudulent developer by Liverpool city council, this land is being bought back from receivers of a company that was in-fact in the chain of fraud and who’s directors where in fact directors or known associates of the original leaseholders ?
Yours sincerely,
J M Bradley
