Dear Mr Kilcoyne
I refer to your request for information. You asked for:
1) funding provided to the LTA from the years 2010-2013; and
2) a breakdown on how the LTA spent the funding provided to them from the
years 2010-2013.
Details of all Sport England awards can be accessed here:
[1]http://www.sportengland.org/funding/inve...
You can use the sort and filter functions to see what funding we have
awarded to the LTA from 2010 to 2013.
However, the primary funding awarded to the LTA is our Whole Sport Plan or
NGB funding. This spans the period 2009-2013. As you asked for only
2010-2013 and you also asked for details as to how the funding was spent
and the Local Spending Data does not provide sufficient detail to answer
your request, we have also included:
(i) a spread sheet which shows how the funding Sport
England awarded to the LTA under the LTA’s Whole Sport Plan award for the
period 2010-13 was spent. You will see that Column A sets out the
“interventions”, or programmes, that the LTA ran for that period and how
funding was allocated between each programme. Please note that this
spread sheet includes both Sport England and partnership funding.
(ii) a document setting out in greater detail the various
programmes to which Sport England contributed.
I hope the attached information satisfies your request. If it does not,
please write to:

and your complaint will be dealt with through our Internal Review
procedure.
Please describe the original request, explain your grounds for
dissatisfaction, and include an address for correspondence.
If you are still not satisfied following the Internal Review, you have a
right to appeal to the Information Commissioner. He can be contacted at:

Padraic. What prompted this request? Do you have any interesting leads on the success or otherwise of these schemes?
I was under the impression that Sport England withdrew some (all?) funding because certain targets had not been met.
Thanks,
Jo
